Lenovo Slim Pen (for selected models)
Lenovo Slim Pen (hereafter referred to as the pen) enables a more precise and easier way of selecting, writing and sketching. It attaches magnetically to your computer.
- The default function of each barrel button might vary in different apps.
- To customize the barrel button functions, use Lenovo Pen Settings. You can also check the battery life on your pen in Lenovo Pen Settings. If Lenovo Pen Settings is not installed on your computer, download and install the latest WinTab driver from https://support.lenovo.com or from Microsoft Store.
- To purchase the pen, go to https://www.lenovo.com/accessories.
- Touch input is disabled while the pen is touching the display.
Charge the pen
- Remove the pen cap in the direction as shown.
- Connect the pen to a charger with a USB-C cable.
- Install the pen cap back on the pen after charging.
Place the pen
Attach the pen to the magnetic side of your computer. Depending on different scenarios, the pen should be attached to different magnetic sides as shown.
- Attach the pen to the right side of the display for temporal using.
- Attach the pen to the right side of the body for carrying.
Ensure that the pen tip is oriented the direction as shown when attaching it to the computer. Otherwise, the pen may drop.
Maintenance tips
- Do not attach the pen to other areas on your computer even it can be magnetically attached. Otherwise, the pen and your computer might be broken.
- The pen is not waterproof. Keep the pen away from water and excessive moisture.
- If possible, place your pen in a well-ventilated and dry area without direct exposure to sunshine.
- Do not use or store the pen in a place where excessive changes in temperature might occur such as in a car.
- The pen contains pressure sensors. Apply an appropriate amount of pressure when writing on the screen. Do not subject the pen to shock or vibration.
