Remove the computer stand. See Replacing the computer stand.
Remove the computer cover. See Removing the computer cover.
Remove the side I/O bezel. See Replacing the side I/O bezel.
Remove the system board shield. See Replacing the system board shield.
Disconnect the card reader cable from the system board.
Replace the card reader.

Connect the new card reader cable to the system board.
