Prerequisite
Before you start, read Important safety information and print the following instruction.
Replacement procedure
- Remove the computer cover. See Computer cover.
- Remove the bottom cover. See Bottom cover.
- Disconnect the system fan cable, and then remove the system fan.
- Install the new system fan, and then connect the system fan cable the system board.
Reinstall all removed parts.
- Reconnect the ac power adapter and all disconnected cables to the computer.Note: If a locking device is available, use it to lock the computer.
