1. Always On USB Type-A connector (USB 3.1 Gen 1)

  • Connect USB-compatible devices, such as a USB keyboard, USB mouse, USB storage device, or USB printer.

  • Charge external devices when the computer is turned off, in sleep or hibernation mode.

Note: The always-on function can be turned on or off in one or more of the following software:
  • Lenovo Vantage
  • Lenovo PC Manager
  • UEFI/BIOS Setup utility
2. Power button (with power indicator)

Press to turn on the computer or put the computer to sleep mode.

To turn off the computer, open the Start menu, click Power icon Power, and then select Shut down.

The indicator on the power button shows the system status of your computer.

  • Solid white/Solid amber: the computer is on.

  • Off: the computer is off or in hibernation mode.

  • Blinking slowly: the computer is in sleep mode.
