Hotkeys

Some keys on the keyboard are printed with icons. These keys are called hotkeys and can be pressed alone or in combination with the Fn key to access certain Windows functions or settings quickly. The functions of hotkeys are symbolized by the icons printed on them.

Hotkey Function
F1 key with speaker-mute function

Mute/Unmute sound.

F2 key with volume-down function / F3 key with volume-up function

Decrease/Increase volume.

F4 key with microphone disable-enable function

Enable/Disable the microphones.

F5 key with brightness-down function / F6 key with brightness-up function

Decrease/Increase the screen brightness.

F7 key with display-switch function

Switch display devices.

F8 key with airplane mode

Turn on/off airplane mode.

F9 key with launching Settings app function

Start the Settings app.

F10 key with camera disable-enable function

Enable/Disable the camera.

F11 key with touchpad disable-enable function

Enable/Disable the touchpad.

F12 key with the insert mode or overtype mode function

Switch between insert mode and overtype mode.

Printscreen key with the print screen function

Enable/Disable the print screen function.

Record screen when you play games.
Start/End screen recording.
Note:

This function is available only when you are playing games.

Adjust the keyboard backlight.
Turn on/off the keyboard backlight.
Note:

You can also press Fn and this hotkey to adjust the backlight brightness.
