It is a good idea to create a recovery drive when you have
finished setting up Windows for the first time. If you experience
a major issue and your Windows cannot start, you can use the recovery
drive to restore Windows onto your PC.
-
Prepare an empty USB drive with a storage capacity of 16
GB or more.
-
In the search box on the taskbar, type Create a recovery drive and select the
matched app.
-
Make sure Back up system files to the recovery
drive checkbox is selected and select Next.
-
When prompted, connect the USB drive to your PC, select
it, and then select Next.
-
Select Create.
