Set up Internet access

In your home or office, Internet access is typically provided through Wi-Fi-enabled networks. You can connect to such a network to access the Internet. The Windows operating system provides utilities that assist in searching, connecting to, and managing wireless networks within range.
  1. Select the Network, Sound, and Battery icons (a Windows taskbar icon that consists of icons indicating wireless, sound, and battery) on the right side of the taskbar to open quick settings.
  2. On the quick settings pane, select the > symbol next to the network icon.
    Wireless networks within range should be displayed.
  3. Select the network you want to connect to and then select Connect.
  4. Enter the network security key when prompted.
