Slim-optical-drive cage

Prerequisite

Before you start, read Generic Safety and Compliance Notices, and print the following instructions.

For access, do the following:
  1. Remove these parts in order, if any:

  2. Disconnect the signal cable and power cable from the 3.5-inch secondary hard disk drive under the slim-optical-drive cage.

Replacement procedure


Remove the slim-optical-drive cage from the chassis.


Remove the slim-optical-drive cage from the 3.5-inch secondary hard disk drive cage


Install the slim-optical-drive cage to the 3.5-inch secondary hard disk drive cage


Install the slim-optical-drive cage to the chassis.
