Use the Fn key or enable FnLock

You may use the Fn key to modify the functions of dual-function hotkeys. To do this, hold down the Fn key (3) and press the hotkey.

For dual-function hotkeys that share keys with the F1-F12 function keys, you can also enable FnLock to modify the key functions. To do this, press Fn + Esc.

1. F1–F12 function keys The functions of these keys can be modified by using the Fn key or by enabling FnLock.
2. Esc key The Esc key is also the FnLock hotkey.
Note: The light on the Esc key indicates whether FnLock is enabled.
