Follow the instructions to replace the Wireless-WAN-module bracket.
Before you start, read Generic Safety and Compliance Notices.
For access, do the following:
Part location
Disable the built-in battery. See Disable the built-in battery.
Turn off the computer and disconnect the computer from ac power and all connected cables.
Close the computer display and turn over the computer.
Remove the base cover assembly. See Base cover assembly.
Remove the wireless wan card. See Wireless WAN module (for selected models).

Remove the wireless-WAN-module bracket as shown below.
- Install the wireless-WAN-module bracket in reverse order.
