Display connection

HDMI connection

HDMI connection is always a good choice when it comes to connecting an external display. The HDMI connector on the computer supports 8K@60Hz as specified in HDMI 2.1.

USB Type-C connection

Three of the four USB Type-C connectors on the computer support DisplayPortTM Alt Mode. You can connect an external display using USB Type-C connectors on the left and rear side of the computer.

The USB Type-C connector on the right side of the computer does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode and therefore cannot be used to connect external displays.

To connect displays with a USB Type-C connector (for video input), use a cable with USB Type-C plugs on both ends.

To connect displays with a DisplayPort connector, use a cable with a USB Type-C plug on one end and a DisplayPort plug on the other.
