Before upgrading your computer operating system to Windows 7, it is recommended to run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on your computer first. The Upgrade Advisor scans your computer to check if your computer is ready for Windows 7. By viewing the results of the scan, you can review issues that might prevent you from upgrading to Windows 7.
For more information about upgrading your Lenovo computer, refer to the document Upgrading to Windows 7 from Windows Vista on ThinkPad and Value line Notebook Computers - General.
