Installation Readme


This package installs Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP device drivers
for the Lenovo L192p (9419-HC2) LCD Monitor.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.


Downloading the package
=======================
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Extracting the package
======================
1.  Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
2.  Type 9419hc2xp2k.exe in the search field, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3.  Double-click the 9419hc2xp2k.exe icon.
4.  Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6.  Click Next.
7.  Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
    C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\MONITOR\L192P\9419HC2\Windows XP & Windows 2000.
8.  Click Next. The necessary files will be extracted to your
    hard drive.
9.  Click Finish.


Installing the package
======================

Installing the device driver in Windows 2000
--------------------------------------------
1.  Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2.  Double-click the Display icon.
3.  Click the Settings tab.
4.  Click the Advanced button.
5.  Click the Monitor tab.
6.  Click the Properties button.
7.  Click the Driver tab.
8.  Open the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard window by clicking on Update
    Driver and then click the Next button.
9.  Select Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that
    I can choose a specific driver and then click the Next button.
10. Click the Have Disk button.
11. Click OK.
12. Ensure that the folder
    C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\MONITOR\L192P\9419HC2\Windows XP & Windows 2000
    is selected.
13. Select your monitor in the listbox, and click OK.
14. Close all open windows and restart the computer.


Installing the device driver in Windows XP
------------------------------------------
1.  Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2.  Double-click the Display icon.
3.  Click the Settings tab.
4.  Click the Advanced button.
5.  Click the Monitor tab.
6.  Click the Properties button.
7.  Click the Driver tab.
8.  Open the Hardware Update Wizard window by clicking on Update Driver
    and then click the Next button.
9.  Select Install from a list or Specific location (Advanced) and then
    click the Next button.
10. Click the Have Disk button.
11. Click OK.
12. Ensure that the folder
    C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\MONITOR\L192P\9419HC2\Windows XP & Windows 2000
    is selected.
13. Select your monitor in the listbox, and click OK.
14. Close all open windows and restart the computer.


The system will automatically select the maximum refresh rate and
corresponding Color Matching Profiles.
