Installation Readme


This package installs Microsoft Windows Vista device drivers for the
Lenovo L192p (9419-HC2) LCD Monitor.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.


Downloading the package
=======================
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Extracting the package
======================
1.  Click Start, click Start Search.
2.  Type 9419hc2vista.exe in the search field, then click Search Everywhere.
    This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3.  Double-click the 9419hc2vista.exe icon. You may see a dialog stating
    "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog,
    click Continue.
4.  Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6.  Click Next.
7.  Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
    C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\MONITOR\L192P\9419HC2\Windows Vista.
8.  Click Next. The necessary files will be extracted to your
    hard drive.
9.  Click Finish.


Installing the package
======================
1.  Click Start, then click Control Panel.
2.  Click Hardware and Sound.
3.  Under Device Manager, click Update device drivers. You may see a dialog
    stating "Windows needs your permission to continue". If you see this
    dialog, click Continue.
4.  Click the + sign next to Monitors.
5.  Right-click the monitor name. It is usually something like "Generic PnP
    Monitor".
6.  Click Update Driver Software.
7.  Click Browse my computer for driver software.
8.  Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
9.  Click Have Disk.
10. Enter C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\MONITOR\L192P\9419HC2\Windows Vista in the "Copy
    manufacturer's files from" field, then click OK.
11. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation procedure.
