Overview

Lenovo Linux Diagnostics is a diagnostic tool that tests the memory and hard drives in Lenovo ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation and Think Server on Linux.

DOWNLOADING THE INSTALLATION FILE
=================================
1. Click the file links to download the files from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the
   downloaded files.


INSTALLATION
============
Log on console as root:
su-

To install the packages, it's necessary to uninstall all prvious versions of Lenovo Linux Diagnostics
rpm - aq | grep ldiag (to check if there is an installed version)
and
rpm -e "installed version" (to remove the installed version)

After that, just execute:
rpm -ivh suse-x64-15.rpm

Choose the language you wish to install when the dialog pops up


LAUNCH
======
Log on console as root:
su-

Navigate to the folder where the app is installed and execute:
ui


UNINSTALLATION
==============
Log on console as root:
su-

execute:
rpm - aq | grep ldiag (to check if there is an installed version)
and
rpm -e "installed version" (to remove the installed version)


LIMITATIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS
==============================
Limitations:

*SATA Controller Mode needs to be set to AHCI in system BIOS if the system doesn't use UEFI BIOS
*Command window size has to be at least 115x27 to launch the application
