Installation Readme

Introduction
=================
This installation package enables you to upgrade the ThinkVantage(R) ImageUltra Builder program 
from version 5.0 to version 5.01.


System requirements and prerequisites
=====================================
- approximately 820 MB of free hard disk drive space

- the ImageUltra Builder 5.0 program installed

Limitations and considerations
==============================
1.  If there is no card inserted in the smart card reader installed on the ThinkPad(R) X100e computer, 
    an error message will be displayed. In this case, you can click Continue to go on with the deployment process.

2.  It will take a while before the Installer program is launched. 


Downloading the package
=======================
To download the package, do the following:
1. Click the file link for the executable on the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory to save the executable.


Installing the package
======================
To install the package on the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Vista or Windows 7 operating system, do the following:

1.  Click Start ¡ú Search.
2.  Type Update501_325.exe in the Search field, and then click Search. 
    This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3.  When the search result is displayed, double-click the Update501_325.exe file. 
    After the "A program needs your permission to continue" dialogue is displayed, click Continue.
4.  Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

To install the package on the Windows XP operating system, do the following:

1.  Click Start ¡ú Search.
2.  Click All files and folders.
3.  In the All or part of the file name field, type Update501_325.exe, and then click Search.
    This will locate the file you just downloaded.
4.  When the search result is displayed, double-click the Update501_325.exe file.
4.  Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
