1.0   OVERVIEW
--------------

ThinkServer(TM) EasyUpdate Firmware Updater (hereinafter referred to as 
Firmware Updater) is a software application that enables you to maintain your
system firmware up to date and helps you avoid unnecessary outages.
Firmware Updater updates the server firmware in two ways; by updating the 
system and adapter firmware and by updating the hard disk drive (HDD) firmware.  

This README file contains the latest Firmware Updater support information 
for specific conditions and known limitations.

Firmware Updater Version 1.00 was the initial release of Firmware Updater.


4.0  HOW TO USE Firmware Updater
---------------------------------

Update your system in the following order:

1.  Click the link to download the file from the Web page. 
2.  When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
3.  Create a bootable DVD from the appropriate .ISO file for your server.
4.  Reboot and power on your server.        
5.  Insert the Firmware Updater CD/DVD into your CD/DVD-ROM drive.
6.  Follow the steps to use the Firmware Updater. Refer to the online help for more usage instructions.
