Installation Readme

This firmware update fixes a problem booting WinPE disc.

This package applies to systems configured with the HLDS DH40N SATA DVD-ROM drive

The system must be rebooted before the firmware upgrade will take effect.  
We recommend you close all applications and save your data prior to upgrading the 
firmware. Do not power-down or restart your system while the firmware upgrade 
is in progress.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.


Downloading the package
=======================
1. Click the file link to download the file from the web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save 
   the downloaded file.


Installing the package
======================
1. Go to the folder where you saved it, and click on the dh40n_1.04.exe icon.
2. Then click the Proceed button. The firmware update will continue automatically.  
3. When it is complete, restart your computer.  
4. The firmware update will take effect after you have rebooted your computer.
