Modem Installation Methods

Setup.exe is provided with the driver and should be run from the driver installation directory.

1. Regular installation: 

a) Plug in the modem into the PC.

b) When Window detects the modem and starts software installation, press "cancel" to cancel the installation wizard.

c) Double-click on "SETUP.EXE" file and follow the instructions.

d) Modem driver will be installed.



2. Silent installation:

a) Plug in the modem into the PC.

b) When Window detects the modem and starts software installation, press "cancel" to cancel the installation wizard.

c) Open DOS prompt and type SETUP.EXE -S.

d) Modem drivers will be installed.



3. INF installation: 

a) Plug in the modem into the PC.

b) When Window detects the modem and starts software installation, select "LSISMV##.INF" INF file from the driver installation directory and follow the instructions.

c) Modem drivers will be installed.



Modem Un-installation Methods

agrsmdel.exe is provided with the driver and should be run from the driver installation directory.

1. Regular un-installation: 

a) Double-click on "AGRSMDEL.EXE" file from the driver installation directory and follow the instructions.

b) Modem drivers will be uninstalled.



2. "Add/Remove Programs" un-installation:

a) Click "Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs".

b) Select "LSI PCIe Soft Modem".

c) Click the "Add/Remove" button.

d) An Uninstall Wizard appears. Follow the instructions on screen. You must choose to restart the system in order to complete modem removal.

e) Modem drivers will be uninstalled.
