Device Driver Install Instructions(inf file):

      A. Installation
      
      	 1. The first time the device is pluged, you will see a 
           "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box,
         2. Select "Install from a list or a specific location (Advanced)"
           then click <Next>
         3. Check the box "Include this location in the seach"
           Then click on <Browse> to the driver file location 
           (where you find this ReadMe.txt file) and click <OK>
           Click <NEXT>
         4. Then the computer installs the driver.
          Click <Finish> to close the Microsoft Device Driver Wizard.


      B. Check your instalation

         1. Right-Click on "My Computer" icon on the desktop,
         2. Choose "Manage" and select the "Device Manager" section,
         3. Double-click on "Smart Card Readers" group,
         4. Double-click on "ThinkPad Smart Card Reader"
         5. Select the "Driver" tab
	 6. Check that the "Driver version" matches the one for this file.

Device Driver Update Instructions(inf file):

      A. Update
      
      	 1. Right-Click on "My Computer" icon on the desktop,
         2. Choose "Manage" and select the "Device Manager" section,
         3. Double-click on "Smart Card Readers" group,
         4. Double-click on "ThinkPad Smart Card Reader"
         5. Select the "Driver" tab
         6. Click on <Update Driver>
	 7. select "Install from a list or a specific location (Advanced)"
          then click <Next>
         8. Check the box "Include this location in the seach"
          Then click on <Browse> to the driver file location 
          (where you find this ReadMe.txt file) and click <OK>
          Then click <Next>
         9. Then the computer installs the driver.
          Click <Finish> to close the Microsoft Device Driver Wizard.
         10. The driver is now updated and you can close the
	  "Smart Card Reader" windows and "Computer Management"
          windows.


      B. Check your update

         1. Right-Click on "My Computer" icon on the desktop,
         2. Choose "manage" and select the "Device Manager" section,
         3. Double-click on "Smart Card Readers" group,
         4. Double-click on "ThinkPad Smart Card Reader"
         5. Select the "Driver" tab
	 6. Check that the "Driver version" matches the one for this file.
	 	
Device Driver Uninstallation Instructions(inf file):

      A. Remove

         1. Right-Click on "My Computer" icon on the desktop,
         2. Choose "Manage" and select the "Device Manager" section,
         3. Double-click on "Smart Card Readers" group,
         4. Double-click on "ThinkPad Smart Card Readerr"
         5. Select the "Driver" tab
         6. Click on the <Uninstall> button.
         7. When prompted, confirm the operation by clicking <OK>
         8. When this operation is finished, just disconnect the device.


      B. Check the removal
         
         1. Right-Click on "My Computer" icon on the desktop,
         2. Choose "Manage" and select the "Device Manager" section,
         3. Either no more "SmartCardReader" group appears
            no more reader is available on the computer
         Or
         1. Double-click on "SmartCardReader" group,
         2. Verify that no "ThinkPad Smart Card Reader" appears any
            longer
