Installation Readme


Introduction
============
Lenovo’s new innovative and unique SimpleTap solution provides easy access to on-screen
tiles that you touch to get to hardware controls and interact with your ThinkPad or ThinkCentre
with multi-touch screen. 
- Quick and easy access to many hardware controls and status indicators
  (ie: brightness, audio, etc)
- Locate handy controls for functions like the microphone and mute
- Ability to customize touch tiles to launch frequently used websites, files or applications
- Kick-up the Win7 touch experience a notch!


Supported languages
===================
English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Japanese,
Korean, Danish, German, Spanish, Finish, French, Italian, Netherlands, 
Norwegian, Swedish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese


System requirements
===================
The following ThinkPad systems are supported:
- T510, T410s T410, T400, X200 tablet, X201, X201s, X201 tablet, L412, L512 
In addition, certain ThinkCentre models with multi-touch screens are supported.
 

Downloading the package
=======================
1. Click the file links to download the files from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded files.


Installing the package
======================
1. Log on to your system using an operating system account with administrative privileges.
2. Run simpletapsetup.exe if your operating system is Windows 7 32-bit, 
   or run simpletapsetup64.exe if your operating system is Windows 7 64-bit.


Uninstalling the package
========================
1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Programs.
3. Click Programs and Features.
4. Select Lenovo SimpleTap.
5. Click Uninstall.
6. Click Yes to proceed.


Determining which version is installed
======================================
1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Programs.
3. Click Programs and Features.
4. Select Lenovo SimpleTap.
5. Scroll to the right to view the Version column.
