What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the software tool bar that provides the short
cuts to the ThinkPad utilities, the options to adjust system settings,
and some other useful functions.  This package supports Microsoft 
Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit, Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC 
Edition 2005.

The following models are supported:
  - ThinkPad X200 Tablet

  - ThinkPad X41 Tablet (*1)
  - ThinkPad X60 Tablet (*1), X61 Tablet

  Note:
   *1: Windows Vista 64-bit is not supported.

Installation instructions
-------------------------
Note:
- To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the
  "Summary of Changes" section.

INSTALL:

 1. Start Windows Vista, XP and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\TBUTIL
 3. For Windows Vista, click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories
    then click Run...
    For Windows XP, click Start, then click Run...
 4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the 
    package in step 2, and click OK.
    EXAMPLE:  C:\DRIVERS\WIN\TBUTIL\SETUP.EXE
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.


UNINSTALL:
 Uninstallation is supported by the Uninstall a program of Programs 
 and Features in the Control Panel.
 You have to logon with the user ID authorized as an administrator.


Silent Installation Guide (for Unattended Installation support)

Note:
 This is for system administrators' use only.

 1. Start Windows Vista, XP and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.

 3. For Windows Vista, click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories
    then click Run...
    For Windows XP, click Start, then click Run...
 4. Specify "SETUP.EXE -s -SMS" with the full path name where you 
    extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    EXAMPLE:  C:\DRIVERS\WIN\TBUTIL\SETUP.EXE -s -SMS
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
