  This package installs the software (Lenovo Fingerprint Software) to
  enable the following device.

  If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing)

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED

  1. Click Start, then go to All Programs.
  2. Go to ThinkVantage then select Lenovo Fingerprint Software.
  3. Click About menu.
     Then you will see the driver version.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Note:
  If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to
  update the software. To determine if you should update the software,
  refer to the Version Information section.


Manual Install

  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
     The default location is C:\DRIVERS\VISTA64\FPSA.
  3. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click
     Run...
  4. Specify SETUP64.EXE with the full path name where you extracted
     the package in the step 2, and click OK.
     Example: C:\DRIVERS\VISTA64\FPSA\SETUP64.EXE
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.


Unattended Install

  This is for system administrators' use only.

  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
     The default location is C:\DRIVERS\VISTA64\FPSA.
  3. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click
     Run...
  4. Specify SETUP64.EXE /s /v"/qb REBOOT="R"" with the full path name

  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.
