  This package installs the software (Ricoh Multi Card Reader driver) to enable

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED

 [Windows XP]

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Open "Add or Remove Programs".
  3. Find RICOH R5C83x/84x Flash Media Controller Driver Ver.xxx . You can
     determine the version of the driver here.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Note:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update
  the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the
  Version Information section.


Manual Install

  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
     The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\4IN1.
  3. For Windows XP, click Start and then click Run.
  4. Click Browse.
  5. Select the folder where the package was extracted in Step 2.
  6. Select setup.exe.
  7. Click Open.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Follow the instructions on the screen.


Unattended Install

  This is for system administrators' use only.

  - Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the files.
  - At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -s option.
    Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\SETUP -s
