Check the Driver Version displayed. [Windows XP] 1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Performance and Maintenance. 2. Click System, click the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager. 3. Double-click UWBPCI 4. Double-click Realtek WHCI. 5. Click the Driver tab. 6. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section. - This software does not support overwrite-installation. Before installing a new version, uninstall the older one, then "shutdown (power off)" the computer, and power on the computer, again. Manual Install 1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\TPWUSB. 3. On Windows Vista, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run... On Windows XP, click Start, then click Run... 4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\TPWUSB\SETUP.EXE 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. 6. If a Digital Signature warning message appears, click "Install this driver software anyway" (on Windows Vista) or "Continue Anyway" (on Windows XP). 7. Restart the computer. Unattended Install This is for system administrators' use only. 1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. Double click Task Tray icon to open Wireless USB Manager. 2. Right click the icon of the device you are going to remove, then select Remove. 3. Repeat above instructions for all the devices you want to remove. Manual Uninstall [Windows Vista] 1. Click "Start", then click "Control Panel". 2. Click "Programs / Uninstall a program". 3. Select Realtek WHCI. 4. Click "Uninstall". 5. Click "Yes" on the confirmation pop-up. 6. User Account Control pop-up may open. When it opens, click 'Allow' to continue uninstallation. [Windows XP] 1. Click "Start", then click "Control Panel". 2. Click "Add or Remove Programs". 3. Select Realtek WHCI. 4. Click "Remove". 5.
