Click Performance and Maintenance, then click System. 3. Click Hardware, then click Device Manager. 4. Click the + sign in front of the Network adapters. 5. Double-click 'Intel(R) WiMAX Link 5150'. 6. Click the 'Driver' tab. Then you will see the Driver Version. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES - This WiMAX driver requires to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (Download installer from http://www.microsoft.com) and Windows Installer 3.14 (KB893803-v2) before WiMAX driver installation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Note: - If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section. Manual Install 1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WIMAX\6AWA11WW. 3. Click Finish to exit setup and start driver installation. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen. 5. Click Finish and reboot the system to complete the installation. Unattended Install This is for system administrators' use only. 1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WIMAX\6AWA11WW. 3. Uncheck 'Install "Intel WIMAX driver for Windows XP" now'. 4. Click Finish to exit setup. 5. Click Start, then click Run... 6. Specify "SETUP.EXE /quiet /norestart" with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. SETUP.EXE is in 'Install' Directory. Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WIMAX\6AWA11WW\Install\SETUP.EXE /quiet /norestart 7. Follow the instructions on the screen. 8.
